Cheltenham Festival

The Cheltenham Festival is one of Britain’s foremost annual racing events in the national hunt calendar. The festival takes place for four days in March at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire. Dating back to 1860 with the National Hunt Chase first held at Market Harborough, there are typically several Grade 1 races held, including the Unibet Champion Hurdle and Queen Mother Champion Steeplechase. A total of 28 races take place during the week with over 250,000 guests visiting each year.
