Free medical clinic
The Baton Rouge Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4455 Jones Creek Road, will host a free medical clinic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 14.
The clinic is made possible by the AMEN (Adventist Medical Evangelism Network) and will provide professional medical, dental and vision services at no cost to anyone. Registration is on-site.
Nendors will be on hand to provide their free services. Breakfast and lunch will be served. The program partners with local dentists, physicians, dental hygienists, dental assistants, optometrists, nurses, counselors and other medical and nonmedical volunteers. Revival at Nathaniel Baptist Church
Nathaniel Baptist Church, 5032 Highway 33 South in Centreville, Mississippi, will host a revival at 7 p.m. each night, July 16-18.
There will be three pastors with a "Right Now Word" for this season. Tuesday will be the Rev. Lynwood Spell of Star Hill Baptist Church in Baton Rouge; Wednesday, the Rev. Antroy Gavin of First Baptist and St. Matthews Baptist churches; and Thursday, the Rev. Ray Campbell of Ideal Family Church in Dallas.
