Prince of Wales cheers on England at Euro quarter final in Dusseldorf

Prince William made his second trip to Germany for the Euros as the Three Lions hope to make it to next week’s semi-final

Prince William has appeared in Dusseldorf to cheer on England in their crunch quarter final against Switzerland.

The Prince of Wales made his second trip to Germany for the Euros as the Three Lions hope to make it to next week’s semi-final in Dortmund.

The Prince, who is president of the FA, flew to Germany for Gareth Southgate’s 100th game in charge of England.

It comes after he was spotted at England’s group stage game against Denmark last month which ended in a 1-1 draw after an early goal scored by captain Harry Kane.

Prince William was seen chatting to Swiss President Viola Amherd chat prior to the UEFA EURO 2024 quarter-final match.

He was also pictured in the stands talking to legendary Portuguese winger Luís Figo before cheering on England in the Dusseldorf Arena.

The Prince sang the national anthem amid a rapturous atmosphere in the 54,000 seater stadium.
