Adventure photographer Aidan Williams was able to capture the moment the dramatic conditions got the better of Mr Karr and flung him, leaving him dangling from the slackline. At just three weeks old the baby's eyes are firmly shut - they will begin to open at around 25 days. When he reaches around a month he will begin to eat more solid food. Over the first four weeks the baby will quadruple in weight and will then start fending for himself. The word armadillo means "little armoured one" in Spanish and refers to the tough plated outer shell made of bone that gives protection from predators. Scott Osborne, 49, captured this fleeting moment whilst photographing the Australian Pelican at the Oxenford Weir on the Gold Coast in Australia. He said: “I was very happy with the sharpness and composition of the image and then I saw the fish! It happened pretty fast, so I didn’t know what I had captured until after looking at the camera screen.
