It appears as if New York Jets' fans can only dream of quarterback Aaron Rodgers potentially reuniting with receiver Davante Adams in an NFL offense.

The 31-year-old Adams, a three-time All-Pro First Team selection, signed a mega contract with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 and has been viewed as a franchise centerpiece ever since.

Still, the dream of Adams joining Rodgers with the Jets remains a topic of discussion in NFL circles and the Las Vegas receiver addressed the idea directly on Tuesday's edition of Up & Adams show on FanDuel TV.

"He's in that ear, that's for sure," said Adams when show host Kay Adams (no relation) asked about the dialogue he's had with his former quarterback.

Adams and Rodgers spent eight seasons together in Green Bay and developed one of the most-feared QB-WR connections in the league. The two attended the Kentucky Derby together this past May and are known to keep in touch.

"He's in the ear, but it's not as easy as [it may seem]. Obviously, we can get together and talk about the old times and the potential of doing this and that, but, like I said, I'm a Raider. He knows that," said Adams reaffirmingly.

Adams has not missed a start in two seasons as a Raider. In 2023, he caught 103 passes for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns. The 2014 second-round draft pick has 95 career TD receptions.
