As a member of the Screening Partnership Program, BOS is one of the few companies nationwide selected by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to provide Airport Passenger and Baggage Screening Services in a commercial airport.  This is a high profile responsibility as the air travel screening process is under increasing scrutiny and is in the media every day.  BOS personnel are responsible for the screening of passengers and their checked and carry-on luggage for commercial flights at certain airports under contract with the Transportation Security Administration.  Personnel use a combination of x-ray machines, walk through metal detectors, and explosive trace detection machines as well as the use of passenger pat downs.  The nation’s air travel system has been and will continue to be a major potential terror target and BOS is on the front lines of defending our country in this important area.
