Parking News and Updates

A number of parking lots and streets on and around the KU Lawrence campus will be closed or partially closed due to construction this summer. Please visit the Construction Closures page for details.

Housing lots are currently open for parking without a permit. Housing lots will resume being ticketed on the first day of fall classes. All other lots (gold, blue, red, and yellow) and the toll garages (Allen Fieldhouse, Central District, Mississippi St.) are being ticketed as usual.

Kansas is replacing a number of older license plates when you renew your registration this year. As soon as you get your new plate, don't forget to log into your parking account, delete the car with the old plate, and add it back with the new plate number. When it asks if you want to "add this new plate to your current permit?" you must be sure to say YES.
