We can do it in the UFC, or let's do it at WrestleMania.' And I said, ‘You are crazy.' Vince is -- a lot of people talk about Vince. I've always said it and I'll say it again, I respect Vince very much. But Vince is too old to be fighting anybody."

-- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White reveals in an interview with French-Canadian news outlet RDS that he was once challenged to a fight by the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Vince McMahon. According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, McMahon wanted to fight White at the 2011 pay-per-view (PPV) event WrestleMania XXVII. It was McMahon's idea to host a double main-event for the show, one being himself vs. White and the other being John Cena vs. The Miz for the WWE Championship. How close this deal was to coming to fruition is unknown, but from the sounds of White's comments it doesn't seem like the UFC's head-honcho was interested in slugging it out with McMahon inside the Octagon or the squared circle.
