Stephanie Lam is a Bay Area News Group reporter covering the communities of Cupertino, Sunnyvale and Milpitas for The Mercury News and East Bay Times. She previously worked as a reporter for Cap City News in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and has internship roots at San Jose Spotlight and the Bay City News Foundation. A Cupertino native, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from San Jose State University and a master's in international public and political communication from the University of Sheffield.
