Kyle Smedley is a Pulliam Intern for the Indianapolis Star Sports section. Kyle is entering his fourth year at Ball State University with a major in journalism/telecommunications, along with minors in sports studies and film/screenwriting. Kyle has experience as a writer and editor at the Herald Bulletin, the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, the Ball State Daily News, the Star Press and TheSportster. Kyle is also the winner of the 2023 Keating Competition, hosted by the Indianapolis Press Club Foundation.
