Indagare Loves

  • The nightly live music during your poolside dinner at Swifty’s. We recommend booking a table outdoors.
  • The ability to stroll to Worth Avenue, the beach, and Indagare’s top Palm Beach restaurant picks nearby. Chic beach cruisers are available for guests who would prefer to cycle
  • The beach butler: Staff will set up chairs, towels and a fully-stocked custom bubblegum pink yeti cooler for guests upon request

The Colony Hotel, standing tall and proud, just a stone's throw from Worth Avenue, features a playful, pretty-in-pink lobby (with fabulous de Gournay wallpaper) set in a relaxed atmosphere, allowing guests to feel comfortable yet transported from the moment they check in. Perhaps its most notable asset is Swifty’s, the see-and-be-seen poolside restaurant and bar, which offers an exceptional menu that is best enjoyed in the buzzy, semi-secluded pool lounge area.

The rooms themselves feature colorful antiques and floral patterns reminiscent of old South Florida, and the common spaces including the lobby and exterior of the hotel feel entirely fresh. That’s thanks to a massive redesign in 2021 with help from Kemble Interiors. Be sure to request one of the recently (and gorgeously) renovated rooms, as the still-unrenovated ones showcase a retro scheme of deep pink and emerald green. The suites, located across the street from the main hotel, are each individually decorated by notable designers and feature multiple bedrooms and kitchenettes, benefiting groups looking for a homier option.

When guests aren’t shopping or dining out in Palm Beach (most of the city’s top restaurants and boutiques are within easy walking distance), it’s likely they’ll be found poolside. And while the hotel isn’t beachfront, it’s pretty close: just a quick walk lands you on the sand, where the hotel’s beach butler can provide a full setup for guests to enjoy quality beach time. For a quintessential Palm Beach experience that attracts tourists and locals alike, look no further.

    Who Should Stay

A pack of girlfriends, mother-daughter duos, solo travelers, couples and families looking to be removed from the larger resorts in the area. Those who prefer to walk to shops and restaurants will appreciate this central location.
