Photos: National Walk to School Day
Wednesday was International Walk to School Day. Due to Matthew, only about 50 parents and children walked to Roosevelt from the Bailiwick Mall to the school, the school usually has a huge turn out. They were escorted by six Cocoa Beach police officers including Cocoa Beach Chief Scott Rosenfeld and the mayor Tim Tumulty. At the school the police and mayor judged the poster contest and were treated to pancakes and a fruit breakfast with "20" on them celebrating 20 years of Walk to School.
