Toronto: fatal accident scene

Ambulance attendants carry away the blanket-draped body of a man who’s truck lost an argument with a train.

 

Two things happen when you die quickly and traumatically, your shoes come off and your bowels and bladder empty. I carried a lot of shoes away from accident scenes during my career as a Toronto police officer.
