2024 Player Outlook

It is rare that the #1 overall pick is entering the league in a good situation as usually, to get the #1 pick the team has to be pretty bad and don't get me wrong, the Bears were not a great team last year but their biggest problem WAS the QB. Enter Caleb Williams. The universal top QB in college last season and the universal choice as the #1 overall pick in this years draft finding himself now a Chicago Bear as the Justin Fields era ends. The Bears wasted zero time surrounding their new franchise QB with top end talent. The offense already had D.J. Moore but they then went and acquired Keenan Allen, signed D'Andre Swift and used the ninth overall pick on receiver Rome Odunze The Bears offensive line is also expected to be much better this year after injuries really hurt their overall play. What to expect from Williams is really anyone's guess. QB is the toughest position on the field, we've seen CJ Stroud take the league by storm last year, Justin Herbert have a great rookie season as well in recent memory but we've also watched former top overall picks in Bryce Young and Trevor Lawrence struggle. I'll say this, if Williams does not perform, it won't be due to the talent that is around him on offense.
