John Stamos' Son Billy Plays Drums on 'Good Vibrations' at Beach Boys Concert

John Stamos gets some help from his 6-year-old son, Billy, while performing with The Beach Boys.

John Stamos' little boy is really taking after his old man -- and helping him rock out with the Beach Boys!

The 60-year-old actor and musician --  who has performed on and off with the Beach Boys since 1984 -- took to Instagram on Saturday to share a clip of his 6-year-old son, Billy, delivering a drum solo with him during a performance of the group's hit, "Good Vibrations."

"Had a little help from my son BILLY on good vibrations last night - Wasn't it nice!" Stamos captioned the clip, which was recorded at a Beach Boys concert in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Friday.

In the clip, Billy can be seen impressively keeping up with his famous father on the drums -- while also rocking a pair of noise-dampening headphones to protect his delicate ears and hearing.

Stamos also shared a clip from a performance with the Beach Boys on Saturday, where he introduced one of the songs with a touching tribute to his dad on the 23rd anniversary of his death.

"I lost my dad 23 years ago today," Stamos captioned the clip. "This song is called 'Forever,' -- and that's how long love should last."

Billy -- whom Stamos shares with his 38-year-old wife, Caitlin McHugh Stamos -- has been a recurring guest at Beach Boys concerts alongside his father, and he's been around music (and shown an aptitude for performing) since he was very young.

ET spoke with Stamos in June 2021, where the Full House star and musician opened up about how much it still means to play with the Beach Boys over 30 years later, and what it's like introducing music to his little boy.

"Sometimes, I hit myself in the head with a drumstick. I'm like, 'I'm playing with the Beach Boys.' I can't even tell you how much it means to me. I mean, next to my family, it's the greatest thrill of my life," he shared.

A month before that interview with ET, Stamos brought his then-3-year-old son on stage to sit on his lap, and he got choked up recalling the special experience.

"I had this beautiful moment last week at Petco's stadium, where he sat on my lap during 'God Only Knows' and it was like a moment that I never thought I would ever have, you know?" an emotional Stamos shared. "It was nice."
