Texas statutes do not allow an extension to the July 15 semiannual deadline. If you are unable
to timely file your semiannual report due July 15th because of Hurricane Beryl impacts, please
file your report as soon as you are able. After you file your report, please email a
Statement of Defense
to affidavits@ethics.state.tx.us stating
why your report was filed late and request a waiver of assessed penalty.
