DMLA is proud to highlight long time member, ImageRights. They are a DMLA Member and Sponsor.

Celebrating a significant achievement, ImageRights has successfully submitted over 10,000 U.S. Copyright Office registration applications, encompassing more than 1.4 million images. This marks a crucial milestone in ImageRights' dedication to safeguarding the rights of photographers and visual artists. The importance of timely registration with the U.S. Copyright Office was highlighted in a landmark copyright infringement case, where a jury awarded full statutory damages of $150,000 for each act of willful infringement across 42 photographs taken by architectural photographer Scott Hargis, culminating in a total of $6.3 million in statutory damages.

Dedicated to continuous learning and knowledge sharing, ImageRights actively organizes webinars and engages with copyright experts and the broader creator community. These efforts aim to spark discussions on emerging trends and best practices in copyright law and the protection of visual works.
