New documents released Monday in the criminal investigation of former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel and his family show more details on what the Noels are accused of spending money on with public funds, including sports tickets, Uber rides and a $9,500 watch.

Bank records obtained by Indiana State Police investigators show Jamey Noel spent more than $2 million from 2019-23 while using an American Express credit card under the name of the Utica Township Volunteer Fire Fighters Association, the fire department and EMS service Noel led until he was terminated in January, according to court documents.

Purchases included Cincinnati Reds season tickets, a golf course membership, Uber rides, Amazon purchases and expenses at various restaurants, among other items. The documents show some of those purchases were made even after he was originally arrested in November 2023.

Noel faces 31 charges, including corrupt business influence, theft, tax evasion and ghost employment, among other charges and has pleaded not guilty. He has a trial date set for Nov. 6.

Noel is serving jail time in Scott County after a judge raised his bond from $75,000 to $1.5 million. To post bond, Noel would need to pay just over $1.4 million, The Courier Journal previously reported.

State police investigators also checked bank records tied to Jamey's wife Misty Noel and daughter Kasey Noel. Records claim Misty and Kasey spent $663,211 and $107,371, respectively, using the fire department's American Express card. Misty and Kasey face charges of theft and tax evasion after previous reports from the state police showed credit card expenses for items ranging from clothing and jewelry to payments on personal taxes.

Misty and Kasey pleaded not guilty to the charges against them. Misty has a trial date scheduled for July 30, while Kasey's trial is set to begin Aug. 20.
