Jason and Travis Kelce casually met Prince William backstage at the Eras Tour in London. And while it was a super chill moment (Wills was in dad-dancing mode, no doubt), the brothers were apparently given a lesson in royal protocol before official introductions.

Trav recalled meeting Prince William and his kids, Prince George and Prince Charlotte, during an episode of New Heights, saying “We met royalty guys. That's right, there was royalty at the show.”

“Dude, he was the coolest motherf*cker,” the tight end continued. “He was so cool! I didn’t realize this, 'cause obviously we’re backstage meeting him, because he was there with little George and Charlotte, and they were an absolute delight to meet. Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to like bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand.”

Jason then noted that he and Travis “did get warning” about how to properly introduce themselves to the royals, “but they said that because we weren’t at like an official royal event, we didn’t need to bow or curtsy. If it would have been like an official meeting of royalty event, then it would have been that. But I did still address him as Your Royal Highness. I've never felt emasculated. And I did. That was the closest I've ever been.”

Noted! Also, a hilarious reminder that Jason said “f*ck kings” on the podcast juuuuust before this moment, which prompted Travis to have an absolute panic attack and gesture for him to STFU. Relive the moment here:
