As you may have noticed, Taylor Swift went Instagram official with Travis Kelce after the first night of her London Eras Tour shows...and simultaneously went friendship official (?!) with Prince William in the same snap. It was all very casual!!!! (Edit: None of it was casual.)
But before schmoozing with the royal family at the Eras Tour, Travis and his brother Jason Kelce recorded an episode of their New Heights podcast, and the convo randomly veered to the subject of royalty.
"I’m out on honoring kings," Jason mused while Travis took a sip of his drink and proceeded to low-key panic. "Listen, we’re Americans. We don’t do royalty." He then quipped, "F*ck kings" just for good measure.
Travis's reaction, you ask? He tried to get Jason to stop talking by motioning a slicing hand in front of his neck (😂😂😂) and then said, "Not f*ck kings!" before attempting to change the topic.
Soooo yeah, gonna assume Trav was well aware that meeting Prince William was on his schedule. As one person on Twitter put it, "his life flashed before his eyes." And as another mused, "Oh Jason knew Taylor got that call from Williams PR team."
Annnnnnyway, pretty sure Prince William was too busy dad dancing his heart out at the Eras Tour to notice what was/wasn't said on New Heights—which, yes, is fully an excuse for me to once again share this infamous video with everyone:
