            Continental at Consumer Electronics Show 2023

            At technology company Continental, we are driving the future of mobility – more safely, more connected, and more convenient. For more than 150 years, Continental has revolutionized the way we move, and at CES 2023 (January 5 – 8, 2023, in Las Vegas), we have offered a glimpse into the future, presenting hands-on solutions for some of today’s mobility concerns.

            Continental and Ambarella Partner On Assisted and Automated Driving Systems With Full Software Stack

            Continental and Ambarella, Inc., an edge AI semiconductor company, announced a strategic partnership. The two companies will jointly develop scalable, end-to-end hardware and software solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI), for assisted and automated driving (AD), on the way to autonomous mobility.

            Continental Showcases Curved Display with Invisible Control Panel and Innovation for Driver Identification

            Continental will be presenting its Curved Ultrawide Display at CES 2023. “Ultrawide” refers to a width of 1.29 meters, curving from one A-pillar to the other. The 47.5 inch TFT display is illuminated by more than 3,000 LEDs on a 7,680 by 660 pixel active area.

            Continental Integrates Ambarella’s Scalable System-on-Chip Family in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

            Continental will offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions based on the “CV3” artificial intelligence system-on-chip (SoC) family from semiconductor company Ambarella. The high-performance, power efficient and scalable SoC portfolio, which is built for ADAS applications, complements Continental’s solutions for assisted driving and further advances vehicle automation. The integrated system-on-chip will be showcased at CES 2023 in Las Vegas for the first time.

            Innovations From the Concrete to the Cloud

            At CES 2023, we will demonstrate how product solutions are improving the entire mobility spectrum, including the way vehicles function and how people engage with them. Please find here some product highlights:

            Continental’s Curved Ultrawide Display spans across the entire width of the cockpit. The avant-garde display design creates a new dimension of user experience while the innovative operating concept based on an invisible control panel ensures greater safety and comfort. “Ultrawide” means a width of more than 1.2 meters (nearly 4 feet), which arches from one A-pillar to the other.
            The share of renewable and recycled feedstock in the Conti Urban increases to more than 90 percent after the first retread.
            Continental has expanded its portfolio for assisted driving with Ambarella’s scalable and powerful system-on-chip family for faster processing of increased sensor data in the vehicle, paving the way towards autonomous mobility.
            Thanks to its high dynamic spatial resolution with a long range detection, the high-performance LiDAR from Continental and AEye is ideally suited for applications in passenger cars and commercial vehicles, thus creating core prerequisites for automated driving.
            Continental’s x-Domain Zone Control Units unlock the full potential of the software-defined vehicle by reducing a vehicle network’s complexity and cost by supporting the separation of the software from the hardware.
