Our smallest, most jewel-like Uma lodge sits on a small hill at the western end of the Punakha Valley above the Mo Chhu river. It seems to breathe a different air, and is ideally located for Himalayan exploration, for village treks, temples, festivals, and whitewater rafting.
Our resort is a five-hour drive from our sister property, COMO Uma Paro, and the nearby international airport. It is a more remote experience deep into the Himalayas.
All our itineraries can be customised to your interests and requests. Newly announced SDF incentives mean you can stay longer, while contributing to Bhutan’s carbon-negative status.
Immerse yourself in Bhutan's cultural heritage and extraordinary landscape with our five-night itinerary featuring stays at both our Uma resorts: COMO Uma Paro and COMO Uma Punakha.

Named after the traditional Bhutanese fireplace, Bukhari is the warm heart of our resort — a restaurant serving produce from Punakha Valley. The food is healthy, wholesome and full of flavour, from Bhutan and India, with some international favourites too.
