On May 16, the 2024 Optics Valley of China • Optoelectronic Information Industry Innovation and Development Forum opened in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province.

This event features a professional exhibition that is split into four major specific areas – laser technology and applications, optical communication and all-optical networks, optics and precision optics, and frontier interdisciplinary applications of optoelectronics. The entire exhibition covers an area of 20,000 square meters, and attracted the participation of over 370 star enterprises, with more than 82.5 percent of them coming from outside Hubei.

China's tech giant Huawei showcased its latest products in the optical field, unveiling cutting-edge F5G solutions and supporting advanced technologies. Its Aito M9 demonstrated intelligent in-car optical technology at the event.

HGTECH created and showcased a miniature version of its intelligent factory. From sheet metal cutting to assembly welding, each machine in the miniature factory performed a specific task, attracting many visitors. The factory's automation rate exceeds 90 percent.

At the exhibition area for Guide Infrared, the company's infrared thermal imaging intelligent driving system drew many eyes. The system's display terminal is located in front of the driver's seat steering wheel. When someone walks in front of the car, their infrared thermal image will appear on the screen.
