There's an NCAA Football 14 mod to play TXHSFB. Here's how to download it

The much-anticipated release of EA Sports College Football 25 is less than two weeks away. The most recent installation in the series is seeing action in the meantime, with a Texas flavor.

Thanks to a mod for NCAA Football 14, users can experience gameplay with some of the most storied programs in Texas high school football. The creator replicated uniforms, fields and stadiums for more than 60 UIL schools when it released in February.

A second update came out in April, and the creator said a third version should be released later this month.

Instructions to download the mod, which is available for Playstation 3 and PC, are on the "TX HS FB Mod" Discord server.

The July update will include more than 130 schools, according to an update on the Discord. There are no teams from Lubbock or the South Plains in the mod.

EA Sports College Football 25 will be released July 19.
