Betty J. Moss

Betty J. Moss, age 90, passed away on June 24, 2024. She was born on May 17, 1934 to Harold and Hazel Hester in Fastrill, Texas. She was raised and graduated High School in Pleasanton, Texas.

Betty enjoyed participating in Line Dancing. She will always be remembered for her big smile, her generosity, sense of humor and her devotion to her family and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Moss; her father and mother, Harold and Hazel (Waltman) Hester; her brother, Billy Hester, her sister, Wanda (Hester) Peak, her granddaughter, Shawna Harbaugh and her companion, Gary Rankin.

Survived by and left to cherish her memories are her son, Lawrence (Larry) Moss and wife Debbie; daughter, Glenda (Moss) Harbaugh and husband R. Bruce; grandchildren, Jason Moss, Amanda (Moss) Langner (T.J.), Casey (Harbaugh) Mibb (Herschel), Ashley Harbaugh (Richard); along with her 9 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Nephews and 2 Nieces.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 12:30-1:00pm at Seaside Reid Chapel, with the Funeral Service starting at 1:00pm. Entombment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are T.J. Langer, Herschel Mibb, Jason Moss, Kyler Mibb, Allen Pace and Richard Mendez.
