I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this item. I was expecting a cheaply made gimmick toy that felt flimsy, but it's quite the opposite. The packaging is top notch, and when I took the item out I noticed that it actually felt pretty well made. I was also impressed with how loud it is despite having such a small speaker, and the audio quality, which obviously hampered by being in mono and coming from a small speaker, is still very clear.

There is also a small (and I mean small), book included that gives the history of the sad violin / tiny violin reference. It claims to be hand bound, and does feel well made. It was interesting enough that I read it all immediately (which was a bit difficult due to the small size!).

I got this for a prank, but it turned out to be a cherished novelty.

First let me start out by saying how cute it is ! Don’t expect it to play more than one song though. It serves its purpose even though I haven’t had the opportunity to use it at work yet. But as far as durability goes it gets 10 stars from me !!! My dog managed to knock it into a bowl in the sink filled to the top wi the water… needless to say it sank like the titanic !!!!! However, it still works !!!! No telling how long it was in there. I did take it apart and dry it with a hair dryer to make sure it would last as long as possible. He tried to shatter my dreams of using this on one of my whiney work kids, but he did not succeed !!! Love it !!!😍
