    So I am mowing my yard on my riding mower. I had my phone in the smartspeed case. It fell out of my pocket. To make a long story short I ran it over. It flew out the side of the mower, I thought it was a small piece of can or something. Couldn't find my phone, looked in the yard and there it was. Not a scratch on the phone , but the case took all of the trauma. I immediately bought another one on Amazon. Would recommend to anyone. A tough case that saved a phone.

    Very cool-looking case. My wife commented it looks very "masculine," and hey, with my silver iPhone, it matches my truck! 👍

    Three issues:

    Two are minor: The heavy metal parts have no type of rubberized bits to keep the case from sliding around on a smooth surface or scratching a delicate tabletop.

    Another minor issue was that the case was difficult to fit over the phone, causing a slight flex of the faceplate, which in turn caused one of the screws to be hard to tighten. I had to loosen all of the screws slightly in order to get the faceplate fully tightened, and even then, the case seemed to be just barely warped; it would not lay flat, either face up or down. I would suggest a case made of plastic in this design would be a much better product.

    The other (major) problem is the case apparently does block the phone's signal. On the one day with the case on, I had half of the usual LTE signal I would normally get. Sitting on my couch, just a few feet from my wireless router, I would still have reduced wifi signal, with slow video loading/streaming.

    Slippery, heavy, adds considerable amount of weight to the phone, and it impaired my phone and GPS signal. I had no issues with phone calls or GPS until I started using this case, at which point both became considerably worse. I would not recommend this case to anyone. All of these 5 star reviews must be fake. If only the other 1 star reviews had been posted before I decided to purchase this.

    This is a solid case and it looks awesome!. The unit has a perfect fit and was super easy to install. It came with the a small screwdriver for assembly. My favorite part about the case is it's NOT flat on the sides, so it allows you to have a good grip on your phone. I usually carry my phone In my front pocket and the metal does not snag in anyway. Highly recommended if you want something different than a rubber or pleather case. Worth the money!

    I initially loved this case but was having signal and GPS issues. I thought it was a phone or carrier issue until a recent trip with my wife who is now on same phone and carrier. I has limited GPS and no service nearly the entire weekend where as my wife sitting next to me didn't miss a beat. Once I got someplace to get a screw driver I removed the case and my signal was better. Very disappointed since the case itself had been one of my favorites. I see they have new designs and I need to see if the have resolved the issue.
