This book is thorough, well-written, and extremely informative. I learned a lot from it and I wish I had read it sooner. I recommend it to friends and I purchased a second copy for my cousin. My primary care doctor specializes in this field. When we discussed the WHI after I read this book in reply to some things I said she exclaimed "How did you know that? It took me ages to work that out!". I'd take that as a major endorsement of this book - I respect my doctor highly.

This book has a different title called What Every Woman Needs to Know About Menopause. So, I was really disappointed that I purchased a book that I already had. As far as the book, I did learn from it. I didn't have all my questions answered though. I would recommend it above other books about menopause.

Outdated. Wasn't very useful because it's info is so old. It was also pretty boring. Always check the copyright date.
