I’ve purchased this book 4 times now as a gift to give to soon to be runner moms & dads. It’s more of an adult book than a children’s book, but it’s guaranteed to make you laugh! Cute, funny and unique gift!

This is definitely more a parody of a children's book than anything you would let a child read. It does a great job of making fun of runner's idiosyncracies, like ice baths, obsession with Kenyans, and underdeveloped upper bodies. While it's short (what did you expect?) and some of the pages are so-so, most of the pages have the humor you'd expect from Mark Remy.

I wanted a unique gift for an extra special person. She collects childrens books, runs and has a great sense of humor. I purchased this book with as a memory book. I had one of her running buddies sneak it around and get everyone to sign it or write "memorable" stories about their time on the trail with my wife. It is going to be a Christmas gift and I can not wait to see her face. I think this is going to be one of her favorite books to go back to time and time again. It is cute for any runner, even if it is just for fun and not used for autographs from friends.

Bought for my brother, who is a trail running enthusiast (shorts are less than 6" long, pink headband and gloves with a special spot to wipe his nose complete the outfit. He reports chafing is a real thing). Well written and humorously illustrated, this book is charming and funny. Makes a perfect gift

This book is hilarious! The only reason I knocked one star off is because it was ALMOST a picture book for adults that could be read with kids, except for one page where someone is flipping the bird. I know not everyone cares about that, but other than that it’s hilarious and only mildly inappropriate ^_^ I got it for my brother as a Christmas present.

My cross country running son in college loved this... and identified with it a bit too much. It was a perfect Christmas present, and proves you're never too old for picture books from mom. =)

Fun silly book for runners with a sense of humor. Gave it to my marathoner niece for Christmas and she loved it. I told her she could feel free to "pass it along" to other runner friends and she was like, no way - it was a keeper.
