Shosanna DreyfusAfter her family was slaughtered by Hans Landa, the beautiful and brilliant Shosanna Dreyfus fled to Paris and began managing a theater under an assumed name. When her theater is chosen to premiere a German propaganda film, Shosanna finally discovers the perfect opportunity to strike back at the monsters who tore her life apart. |
Donny DonowitzBrash, tough, and fearless, Sergeant Donny Donowitz’s savage and unflinching brutality as a member of the Basterds soon sparked a terrifying legend amongst the German soldiers. While the movie is mostly fiction, there were actually at least two who did go back into occupied Germany.
But the movie itself is fictionalized, from the wiping out of Hitler and his command [too bad], to the way German soldiers were killed and those left alive were branded. Too bad.
With a 153 minute movie comes a bit of 2 hours of extras but mostly from a TV interview with Tarantino and Pitt and another with Tarantino at a Q&A with a New York Times writer.
