The Twins beat the Chicago White Sox 8-6 on Monday night, but many were focused on the viral clip from the game.

Twins shortstop Carlos Correa hit a home run in the seventh inning and cameras followed him as his celebrations entered the dugout.

Play-by-play announcer Marney Geller started describing a pitching change when Ryan entered the screen.

As Correa took his batting gear off, Ryan was seen in the background picking up a bottle of baby powder.

Before the camera could change to the field, Ryan turned the bottle over and dumped the powder into his pants.

Fans got a good laugh out of Ryan's act in the dugout and shared on social media.

"Gold bond for a little tingle jingle," one fan said.

"Lil poof to ease himself," another fan said.

"Hahaha, love Joe Ryan," a third fan said.

"Little powder goes a long way," a fourth fan said.

"Gotta powder the munchkins baby," a fifth fan said.

Perhaps the baby powder is Ryan's secret weapon, as he is having a great season so far in 2024.

Ryan has started 18 games and is pitching to a 3.29 ERA.

He has 118 strikeouts in 109.1 innings and has a record of 6-5 in his starts.

Ryan is in his fourth MLB season at age 28 and is growing into a top-end starter for the Twins.

His career ERA sits at 3.87 and he has a career record of 32-24.
