The veteran broadcaster is set to work alongside commentators Wade Barrett and Corey Graves.

The team of Pat McAfee and Michael Cole will stay intact.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque had nothing but nice things to say about the addition of Tessitore.

“Whether it’s a world title fight that’s got the globe buzzing or a college football rivalry that’s grabbed the nation’s attention, Joe’s voice provides that big event feel each time he is behind the microphone," Levesque said.

“We’re excited for Joe to join legendary WWE broadcaster Michael Cole and our esteemed announce team, bringing his signature energy and meticulous preparation to our WWE telecasts each week.”

Tessitore is just as excited as Levesque to join the announce team.

“It’s an honor to be a part of WWE the recent success and trajectory are undeniable,” said Tessitore.

Tessitore went on to praise both announce teams and WWE's production after being present for Wrestlemania XL.

Fans have rushed to social media to share their thoughts on WWE's newest addition.

"The perfect fit. Looking forward to him calling WWE weekly. He’s actually a wrestling fan so it makes it even better. Welcome, Joe!" one fan raved on X.
