The Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate Review
In 2022, the StudentSurvey.ie Steering Group initiated a period of strategic reflection recognising that significant changes have occurred in higher education since the survey piloting in 2013.
Following two external consultancy reports and informed by feedback from a wide range of stakeholders, the Steering Group made the decision not to proceed with fieldwork in 2024 and to instead focus on a review of the survey.
The survey is currently undergoing a review and redesign to re-emphasise the central role of the student voice in considerations of how to enhance experiences of higher education.

StudentSurvey.ie Trends Over Time Research 2016-2021
Over the last 6 years, 232,450 students have completed StudentSurvey.ie, each answering over 60 questions about their experiences of higher education. The StudentSurvey.ie Trends Over Time Research 2016-2021 website presents some of the data from 2016 to 2021 in an accessible and interactive format.
