This spring, restaurateur Chris Lucas will introduce Canberra to Carlotta, a brand-new concept in the heart of the nation's capital. Carlotta, a 120-seat Mediterranean restaurant, is set to celebrate the exceptional produce, wine, and talent of the region.

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs to join our opening team at Carlotta. Ensure the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively. Train and coach Cooks ensuring quality and consistency of products You must possess a positive and motivated work ethic at all times.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in an a la carte environment
  • Mediterranean cuisine knowledge is highly regarded
  • Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
  • Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of food safety standards
  • Full-time availability. Willing and able to work rotating roster that includes weekend and public holiday.
