AIRCHECK OF THE WEEK
Edition #1305 - July 21, 2024

GORD JAMES
CHUM Toronto
August 3, 1979 (UNSCOPED)

(Contributor: Bill Dulmage)

A great Canadian radio era came to an end with Gord James.

After leaving Hamilton's CKOC in the late '70s, James came to CHUM in 1979. James moved to CHUM-FM two years later, then returned to 1050 as morning man in 2004. On March 25, 2009, he had the honour of hosting the final morning show of CHUM's music era.

Enjoy Gord James on CHUM from August 3, 1979 (UNSCOPED) in the Aircheck of The Week.
