MEET THE CHEF

Allison Fishman Task is an on-camera host and cookbook author, a mom to baby boy twins, a wife and a stepmom. She likes to cook, eat, and write about cooking and eating. Her favorite meal is one that someone makes for her in their very own kitchen.

She is the host of the original digital program, "Blue Ribbon Hunter", where she travels the country on the hunt for the best food in America. She also hosted Yahoo's "The Shine", and is the author of "Cooking Light Lighten Up, America!" This book features photos road stories from "Blue Ribbon Hunter", with recipe makeovers based on "Cooking Light" test kitchen standards.

She lives in Montclair, New Jersey where she cooks with her husband, twin sons, and stepdaughter who are really good about doing the dishes.
