MoMA PS1’s iconic summer music series, Warm Up, begins this Friday, July 12,.featuring DJ sets and live performances from 4 to 10 p.m. on six Friday evenings in July and August. Amplifying under-recognized subcultures and communities traversing experimental music and nightlife, the program charts new and historic origin points for innovations in electronic music.
Over the course of each evening, four distinct sets build from sonic experimentation into dancefloor breakbeats. The complete lineup follows on the press release. Advance tickets are now available for all dates, as well as a season pass offering admission to all performance dates for $75, offered for a limited time only.
Warm Up 2024 is organized by Kari Rittenbach, Assistant Curator, and Nick Scavo, Senior Project Manager, Music, Performance, and Events, with Sheldon Gooch, Curatorial Assistant.
