It's certainly better than the Twitch app and clearly much more maintained, which is immediately obvious to me having been on twitch for some yrs. Not as buggy and unreliable either.... Apparently twitch ceo too busy paying for hot tub streams. I can't say the platform is better, but that's on the streamers themselves, absolutely no variety. Best reliable stream app unfortunately least variety of content, but again that's on the streamers.

The app is still as terrible and underdeveloped as it was a year ago. Random header movement every couple of seconds, lack of useful options like background play as well as a lack of literally any initiative to make this app better than twitch such as integration of 7tv and such. Literal piece of garbage app and it's crazy how it hasn't improved at all.

Everytime I close the app and open it back up, it makes me re-sign in, which means I have to get a code from my email. Doesn't matter if it's 2 minutes or a day. Chat constantly freezes. Streams freeze often. The picture quality is nice. There is no place in the app I see to report technical bugs, which is dumb. On top of that, it eats battery like crazy. Makes the phone hot, worse than if I were playing a graphics intensive game. Switching from portrait to landscape is a total mess
