Designer Jamison Ernest gets to write his own ending to ‘La La Land’

Designer Jamison Ernest hatched the concept for his latest campaign — starring model Nina Agdal and All-American Rejects rocker Tyson Ritter — when he wished he could write his own ending to the Oscar-winning film “La La Land.”

Agdal and Ritter were recently seen holding hands and running through Soho for Ernest’s new Thursday Boots shoot. Ernest dreamed up the idea when he saw the Ryan GoslingEmma Stone musical on a plane and “loved it — and simultaneously was upset about the ending. I wanted to be able to rewrite it . . . This campaign gives me and every individual who sees [it] the opportunity to write their own ending.” (In real life, Agdal is dating Jack Brinkley-Cook after her split with Leonardo DiCaprio.)

Ernest says his ads follow “the definition of soul mates . . . It starts off as a summer fling . . . Then their lives and careers force them to have to make the ultimate decision — go your separate ways or sacrifice everything knowing that your love together is bigger than anything you could do on your own.”
