Eric Stonestreet had a very different job before he was a hit-sitcom actor.
The “Modern Family” star, now 45, revealed he once worked security for Garth Brooks at the age of 23.
“In 1995 I worked security for A (ONE) Garth Brooks concert in Manhattan, Ks,” the actor captioned an Instagram snap of a boyish-looking Stonestreet guarding Brooks from fans.
But the story doesn’t end there. On Saturday, Stonestreet and Brooks reunited backstage at Brooks’ world-tour stop at Los Angeles’ Forum and posed for a picture – making the full-circle moment truly special.
“Last night I finally got to say you’re welcome for keeping him safe that night and basically giving him the wonderful career he’s had thus far,” Stonestreet quipped. “Thank you Garth for the amazing night I had with my #crew slash #squad #circles.”
