Justin Bieber definitely flunked this Spanish test.
Even though the pop star sings the hook on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Spanish-language hit “Despacito,” he appeared to haven forgotten all the words but one at 1OAK on Tuesday night.
A video obtained by TMZ shows the Canadian unable to remember any word but “despacito” during an impromptu performance of the song at the Manhattan club, subbing in a string of “blahs” for the rest of the chorus’ lyrics.
Fortunately for Bieber, the crowd of club-goers didn’t seem to mind one bit that he’s better at reading Spanish than memorizing it.
Sometimes a single word is all it takes.
