Dakota Johnson is no longer afraid to let her freak flag fly.
The “Fifty Shades of Grey” starlet dished on her newfound appreciation of sex toys.
“Oh some of that stuff is just so beautiful,” the 27-year-old quipped in the March issue of Glamour UK. “When we first started ‘Fifty Shades,’ that wasn’t a world I was privy to at all, and I soon found out there are all these different tiers.”
Although she has found her pleasure zone, she’s not quite ready to jump down a rabbit hole.
“There are some things out there that are really grimy and nasty, and then there are really beautiful, intricate and chic toys,” she said. “Actually, whole aspects of the BDSM world are truly beautiful.”
Since she began starring in these films (the second installment, “Fifty Shades Darker,” hits theaters next month), her fame has skyrocketed. But that doesn’t mean her parents, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, have seen her work.
“They haven’t because it’s such a tricky thing,” she carefully explained. “It’s too uncomfortable for them. It’s one thing if a film has one sex scene in it, but with this, a large part of the premise is the arc of their [the characters’] sexual relationship, and I think that’s a little inappropriate for my family to watch.”
