‘Bachelorette’ contestant arrested for prowling

Before Alex Woytkiw accepted a rose from “Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher, he was charged with criminal behavior.

The US Marine, who appears on the current season of the ABC reality series, was arrested for loitering and prowling stemming from an incident in March 2011.

In court docs obtained by Radar Online, Woytkiw, 25, and a pal were booked after a security officer discovered the pair lingering in the bushes around the Chi Omega sorority house. While the duo agreed to leave the property, the responding officer discovered a hammer on the premises and notified the Florida State University police.

Woytkiw confirmed he intended to take the sorority letters off the house, and admitted to hiding in the bushes after spotting security. According to the legal docs, Woytkiw and his companion said they were “messing with a friend.”

He completed the requirements of the Misdemeanor Diversion Program two months later.

ABC declined to comment.
