‘Sully’ scouts filming locations with views of the Hudson

Clint Eastwood’s upcoming movie “Sully,” about hero pilot Chesley Sullenberger, is looking for Upper West Side apartments with views of the Hudson River as shooting locations for next month.

Producers of the film about the pilot (played by Tom Hanks), who safely “ditched” US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson in 2009, have sent letters to residents in prospective buildings.

“We are looking for apartments on the Upper West Side with views of the Hudson River to feature as filming locations,” it reads. “You are in a building we think might have appropriate apartments for the scenes.”

The shoot will be in September and October. Laura Linney and Aaron Eckhart also star in the film as Sully’s wife and co-pilot, respectively.
