Tom Hanks supports wife Rita Wilson at singing gig

An A-list crowd attended Rita Wilson’s opening night at Café Carlyle on Wednesday, including her most famous supporter: husband Tom Hanks.

We’re told Hanks was “visibly moved” when Wilson dedicated the song “Still Here” to the late Nora Ephron, who directed the Oscar-winning actor in “Sleepless in Seattle” and “You’ve Got Mail.”

Gayle King, Mike Nichols, Barry Diller, David Geffen and Christiane Amanpour were also in the audience.

Between songs, the actress-turned-singer told stories about her family and even her first date at age 16 — with a 17-year-old who had a van.

Last April, Hanks, 58, supported his wife, 57, when she took the stage at 54 Below.
