Gloria Allred, who called for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s resignation last week, has some kind words for Ray Rice’s wife Janay.
“I don’t think we should criticize her, she’s in a very difficult position,” Allred told us at a lunch for Sundance TV’s show “Dream School” at the Lambs Club.
“I do hope she is getting support, hope she’s getting counseling, hope that people are giving her some understanding of what her real options are . . . I wish her the best for the future.”
Allred is representing two women who claim to be domestic violence victims at the hands of Bronco Brandon Marshall.
Allred adds she is concerned with the NFL’s process for handling such allegations.
