Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway accused Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) of sexism for repeatedly interrupting during the vice presidential debate and “ignoring” moderator Elaine Quijano’s questions.

{mosads}The Democratic vice presidential nominee repeatedly interjected when Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) was speaking, and at times kept talking when Quijano asked Kaine to stop from interrupting.

“How many times has @TimKaine ignored and interrupted the female moderator tonight? #sexist,” Conway tweeted Tuesday night.

“Is it sexist when Kaine interrupts Pence constantly or just what debaters do to win debates?” a New York Times reporter then asked Conway in a tweet.

Conway replied to political reporter Nick Confessore by calling Kaine’s debate strategy “unsuccessful” and referencing former President Bill Clinton’s remarks Monday criticizing ObamaCare.

“Actually, it’s just unsuccessful. Hillary must be none too pleased her husband and her running mate are stepping all over her message,” Conway tweeted.

During the debate, Quijano admonished both vice presidential nominees for repeatedly interrupting each other.

“Gentlemen, the people at home can not understand either one of you when you speak over each other,” said Quijano, a digital reporter with CBS News.
