It’s Pride Month, and we’re celebrating the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and the champions who are committed to providing support and advocacy. We’re excited to share some of the many amazing organizations that are making a difference not just this month, but all year round.

Indigenous History Month is a time to honour the rich cultural diversity of Indigenous people across Canada. As a resource, we have highlighted a few of many Indigenous arts and culture organizations that operate within Ontario.

In 2023, the Ontario Culture Days Creatives in Residence program welcomed our fourth lineup of residents. These artists worked across artistic disciplines and were active in regions across the province, developing new community-engaged projects for the annual fall festival.

Ontario Arts Council-funded report shows that arts and culture tourism within Ontario has triple the economic impact of non-arts and culture tourism. February 13, 2024 Last November, Ontario Culture Days participated in a conversation with Ontario Arts Council CEO, Michael Murray, and Executive Director of the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund, Kathleen Sharpe, at the Northern Ontario Tourism Summit.

December 20, 2023 From September 22 to October 15, 2023, Ontario Culture Days brought together over a million participants across the province for a lively celebration of artistic and cultural diversity. Organizers hosted open studios, hands-on crafts, cultural family fun, dance and music showcases, museum tours, and so much more – all highlighting Ontario’s unique creative spirit.

Oct 4, 2023 Explore cultural events and experiences in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area in this last week of #ONCultureDays (taking place until October 15, 2023). From art installations to farmers markets, film screenings, dance lessons, and community-building activities, this lineup offers something for everyone, so join the celebration of arts and culture across the region.
