2ds agoA large brush fire broke out in downtown Somerville Monday near New Street and Veterans Memorial Drive, according to the Somerville Fire Department. It's unclear if there were any injuries.
Photos show the damage left behind by the fire that left buildings scorched. Video shows the massive amount of smoke fire crews had to battle through.
It's not known yet which businesses were affected by the fire or the extent of the damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
