Sang Lee Farms began in the 1940s selling wholesale vegetables to Asian markets from their location in Melville. The business moved to the East End of Long Island in the mid-80s.
The third-generation family farm sells retail to the public at their farm stand in Peconic and at local farmers markets. They became certified organic in 2007.
